Dundee Ice Arena welcomes skaters of all abilities. Whether you’re taking your first steps on the ice in our Learn to Skate classes, joining one of our skating clubs or Hockey teams, bringing little ones along to our Snow Babies sessions for under 5’s, or you’re looking to dance the night away at one of our lively Friday night discos, there’s something for everyone.
Skate Hire is available for all sessions, with a full range of sizes.
We also offer a variety of skating aids (subject to availability) to help build confidence on the ice, which can be rented from reception.
Please note that an adult must accompany children under 8 at all times.
Session times are available to view on our calendar. Sessions can be booked in advance through our website here, or admission can be paid at reception on arrival.
Your safety is our priority. Our rink is regularly maintained, and we provide a safe environment for all skaters. Helmets and protective gear are available upon request, especially for younger skaters and beginners.
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, we recommend booking your sessions in advance using our online booking system. Spaces can fill up quickly, especially during peak times such as weekends and holidays, so reserving in advance guarantees your spot and helps avoid disappointment. While limited walk-in availability may occasionally be offered, this is not always guaranteed.
Yes, we cater for up to size 14 skates, which can be purchased online or at reception on arrival.
Absolutely, we encourage people to bring their own skates.
