The MKM Dundee Stars bounced back against the Fife Flyers, claiming a 5-2 Tayside Derby victory on home ice.
A strong opening period saw the Stars outshoot the Flyers 19-6 and generate a number of quality scoring chances which put Shane Owen to the test early.
Johnny Curran, on his home debut, picked up his second point in as many nights, feeding a backhand pass to Kameron Kielly off the rush who made no mistake in firing past Owen at 13:36.
