BALRUDDERY CURLING CLUB

Balruddery Curling Club is based in Dundee Ice Arena, where we play most of our club matches. Established in 1892, the club takes its name from the Balruddery Estate (no longer in existence). However, current club members come from all over the Dundee area and further afield. The club prides itself on being an inclusive, friendly & sociable club catering for all playing abilities of curlers from beginners to experienced members.  We play the majority of our matches in Dundee Ice Arena and occasionally in Forfar and Perth.  For more information contact Carole Sutherland, Club Secretary on   balruddery@hotmail.com

BRAEKNOWE CURLING CLUB

Braeknowe Curling Club is one of the youngest clubs in Dundee Province having been formed in 1975. We actively participate in the local area and province competitions as well as running an internal league and similar competitions. We recently co -opted members of The Gateway Club and Dundee Rocks Curling Clubs into Braeknowe. Therefore we have a broad spectrum of abilities from raw beginners to long standing curlers with years of experience. The latter are keen to pass on their experience to the newer members. At present our games are all at Dundee Ice Arena on Monday and Tuesday evenings. All in all we are a mixed friendly club open to all genders, ages and experience. BROUGHTY FERRY CURLING CLUB

We are a Curling Club that is 150 years old, based in Broughty Ferry, where we have 20 members at this time. We play in the Dundee Province games and cups, including the Thornton and Phin on Monday and Tuesday evenings. We also play in the Seniors League during the day, as well as others that can be arranged. We are also involved in Forfar in the Simpson Trophy, which is played on a Wednesday evening. We play our part in the Development Program, encouraging new Curlers to take up the sport. All are Welcome to try and join us. CLAVERHOUSE CURLING CLUB

Claverhouse is a friendly curling club with most of its members based in Dundee. We play all our games at Dundee Ice Arena – games approximately once a week. Our two internal competitions are played along with Monifieth Curling Club where we encourage improving members to play as skips and thirds. Claverhouse also competes in the Phin League and Dundee Province competitions. Some members also play in the Thornton League team. Claverhouse Curling Club is very keen to welcome new members. DUNDEE CURLING CLUB

Dundee Curling Club was formed in 1800 and offers a wide variety of scheduled curling opportunities throughout the season. This includes both club and inter-club competitions. Our club League, Pairs and Knockout competitions take place on Monday and Tuesday evenings. In addition we hold two annual Bonspiels and a Points competition in Forfar. We also have an active Seniors group playing weekly.  We are delighted to have welcomed 10 new members over the last two seasons thanks to the successful Try Curling programme and all new members enjoy a very warm welcome into our club. Our ever popular International Bonspiel weekend takes place in Stranraer and we also have reciprocal invitations to play overseas each year.  Dundee Curling Club will celebrate its 225th Anniversary in 2025 and is keen to invite anyone to join. LUNDIE AND AUCHTERHOUSE CURLING CLUB

Our friendly Club is based around Lundie and Auchterhouse area and we are in Dundee Province. We play mostly in Forfar but also in Province competitions in Dundee and in the Carse League in Perth. We run 2 club leagues, a Pairs and Points competition along with bonspiels and have regular friendlies against other local teams. We also organise an annual curling weekend to Stranraer. We have an enthusiastic group of junior members and new curlers are always welcome! PANMURE CURLING CLUB

Our Club is based in Carnoustie and Dundee Province. We play in both Phin (Tue at 6pm) and Thornton (Mon 6pm) leagues in Dundee along with Province games in Dundee. However we also offer many club and inter club games based in Forfar. We run a club league on a Wed evening 6 or 8pm around 8 -10 games per season and you would have the opportunity to play any evenings and also some daytime curling in both Dundee and Forfar. ST ANDREWS CURLING CLUB

Our Club is based in the North East Fife Province. We play in the Thornton League (Mon 6pm) in Dundee as well as some St Andrews Club games. We also curl out of Forfar and Kinross ice rinks in our club and inter club games with a mix of daytime and evening ice. Transport to the different rinks shouldn’t be a problem as we normally car share and our Skips are usually the designated drivers. DUNDEE JUNIOR CURLING CLUB

Our club runs every Tuesday during the curling season from 4:15 to 5:35. We welcome juniors from about age 10 (though keen 8 and 9 year old get on well). We enter teams in Dundee's Tuesday league at 6pm - with our team winning the main Dundee league in 2021/22. We take junior members to competitions across Scotland and to Junior clubs in Forfar, Perth and elsewhere. We help form school teams and take teams to Scottish Schools Championship.

UNIVERSITY of DUNDEE CURLING CLUB

University of Dundee Club is based in Dundee Ice Arena, where we play most of our club matches. Established in 1965 it was originally open to Staff and Students. Nowadays we are open to all. As well as club games we play in the Dundee Province competitions, Phin League and Seniors competitions in Dundee and also some Forfar Ice Rink competitions We also play in Area competitions in Forfar which involve clubs from Dundee, Forfar and Aberdeen.
